Job Description

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a focused, organized team player to drive direct sales of Arable’s breakthrough weather and crop sensor technology into the Mexican agricultural market using a thorough understanding of the product application and superb communication skills.  He or she will work closely with the company’s enterprise sales leaders and the marketing team to support direct campaigns from a variety of sources targeting new and existing customers.  As a core customer-facing member of our commercial team, the successful candidate will be an articulate, high energy extrovert with a disciplined, methodical working style.

What you will do:

 

  • Meet or exceed daily sales goals via outbound calls, meetings, and presentations to drive growth with new customers and within Arable’s existing customer base
  • Meet daily expected call volume and meeting requirements with appropriate follow up
  • Field inbound customer calls and direct inquiries appropriately within the company
  • Document inbound and outbound customer call activity in SFDC updating the account and contact profile as required
  • Conduct list cleaning and research activities as directed to improve call yield
  • Learn product features, advantages, objection parry, and practice presentation approach to ensure a professional, compelling customer engagement
  • Create and edit scripts and call approach as required to improve closing success
  • Report weekly progress against goals and key learnings
  • Report customer success issues with appropriate urgency
  • Process orders and quotes as required

 

Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in outside sales or equivalent via some combination of sales, customer service or customer success
  • Bachelor’s degree in agricultural sciences or engineering
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and G-Suite
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and speaking abilities in both English and Spanish
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
  • True team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Desire to learn, grow, and take initiative
