What we’re looking for

OKRA.ai is growing and so is our team. We are looking for a talented Marketing Manager to develop, manage and execute our marketing strategy focusing on promoting OKRA and our suite of products. You will play a major role in driving brand awareness, leading product marketing activities, and managing customer campaigns via different social media and internal CRM platforms.

You will be responsible for the planning, budgeting, and execution of our marketing strategy as well as optimizing the performance of channels with the goal of accelerating client growth. You will coordinate with external agencies and partner with our Policy and Communications Officer in organizing events and the creation of content that is valuable for our target audience.

Job requirements

Your role

You should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. You’ll also be expected to manage our online presence as a whole (website & social media), from strategy to implementation.

We know you’ll wear many hats when it comes to Marketing, from Employer Branding, product marketing to Go-to-market strategies, and you will be able to manage and collaborate with external partners and agencies to bring our initiatives, content, and channels to life.

We’re looking for someone to be a self-starter and resourceful individual that gets things going while in the near term building out an in-house team.

What you’ll do:

Your Main Focus (70% of your time)

Product Marketing

  • Revise and repackage our products and offerings by working on Product Market Fit and Go to Market campaigns

  • Sales Enablement: working on our messaging, hosting training sessions, working on fact sheets, and driving our sales to funnel optimization

  • Work on Customer Retention by creating upselling and cross-selling strategies with an ABM (Account-Based Marketing) approach to increase the Share of Wallet of our customers

  • Research and analysis including competitor research and campaign analysis

Growth Marketing – Digital

  • Create, implement and manage new client acquisition campaigns with clearly defined success criteria – the execution of these campaigns can be done by a third party, but we still expect you to manage them

  • Reporting on ROI and general marketing KPIs with senior management

  • Campaign management driving MQL

Supplemental Focus (30% of your time)

Branding & Brand Marketing

  • Work on a revision of our current Brand Identity, by collaborating with multiple stakeholders and creating a Brand Voice that is up to date with our vision

  • User Experience of our website, SEO reviews, and audits, and Content Marketing

  • Manage all social media platforms (including Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and drive content creation and engagement strategies on a weekly basis.

Employer Branding

  • Creation of a careers page, revision of our team’s testimonials, and team swag for our team members

  • Join HR in creating a coherent online and offline presence of our recruiting efforts – e.g. posting our vacancies to Linkedin, working on Job Descriptions Tone of Voice, and posting about our new joiners on Social Media (mainly LinkedIn)

  • Branded Slides presentations about Okra for prospective candidates and new joiners

What you’ll need:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Marketing Generalist preferably in a fast-growing b2b SaaS start-up where you were exposed to different areas.

  • Experience with Product Marketing activities such as Go to Market, Product Repackaging, and Sales Enablement

  • Acquisition mindset: You’ll need to think about how content marketing, paid acquisition, organic growth (like SEO), and partnership/affiliate marketing all play a role in OKRA’s growth

  • Ability to drive our marketing strategy from the ground up: start with the basics and add as you go. You can create processes in an unstructured environment

  • Experience with SaaS Products in a B2B context is a big PLUS

  • Attention to detail and the capability to work on different projects at the same time – you’ll know when to add more resources and when we can make do with what we have

  • A real collaborative profile and good stakeholder management as you’ll be working with our C-suite team to develop OKRA’s messaging

  • Proficiency in English

Bonus points if you have:

  • Masters or Specialization in a relevant field

  • Experience with Big Pharma

  • Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing Strategies

  • Experience with Product Marketing activities in a SaaS environment
