Company Description

Interstellar Lab goal is to help humans live in harmony with their environment on Earth and in the future on Mars. Using space exploration design approach and technologies, Interstellar Lab has developed EBIOS, the first closed-loop, environmentally-controlled and modular station. An EBIOS station is a combination of sealed modules, each of them able to generate and recycle food, air and water to support life for a group of people. Attached together, modules form a village: a framework for sustainable living on Earth, a testbed for space settlement on other planets.

At Interstellar Lab, our motive is to protect and carry biodiversity and life. We want to accelerate the transition to environmental regenerative solutions on Earth by creating integrated food production, water and waste recycling system. Our approach can contribute to help achieve 7 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals: zero hunger,  good health, clean water, sustainable cities and communities, climate change, responsible consumption and production and life on land.
